Students are given the opportunity to expand their knowledge and abilities by tackling various projects related to real-life situations. Use of such skills as critical thinking, organization, time management, collaboration, and aptitude are put to the test to conquer all that is planned for them throughout this course. Software titles include: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, Audition and After Effects), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), Google Drive, CamStudio, and Screencastify. Emerging technologies are also used for collaboration and showing of work.

The focus of this grading period will be to have students certify in Adobe After Effects.
In addition to learning After Effects, students will maintain their design blog while adding projects assigned in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Animate.
