Digital Information Technology

WordPress Certified Editor

Students will work towards becoming certified as a WordPress Certified Editor.

Social Media Strategist

Students will work towards becoming certified as a Social Media Strategist.

Digital Design I

Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design = Photoshop (required) + Illustrator or InDesign  

Students will work towards becoming an Adobe Certified Associate in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. They maintain a website utilizing knowledge of WordPress to build a portfolio. Certifications, Contests, Resume, Job Board, Research, Artistic Designs, Photography and Drawings will be uploaded to site throughout the year.

 Digital Design II

Adobe Certified Professional in Video Design = Premiere Pro (required) + Photoshop or After Effects

Students will add to their Adobe certifications by learning Premiere Pro and After Effects. They will also learn Audition. There will also be several projects that utilize their knowledge from programs learned in previous years. Students will continue to add to their portfolio.

 Digital Design III

Adobe Certified Professional in Web Design = Dreamweaver (required) + Animate or Photoshop  

Students will add to their Adobe certifications by learning Animate, and Dreamweaver. There will also be several projects that utilize their knowledge from programs learned in previous years. Students will continue to showcase their design abilities/knowledge on their portfolio.

 Journalism

Students will create a weekly school newspaper and a yearbook. Students will be given the opportunity to take the Adobe Certified Professional test for InDesign. Photographing, interviewing, selling ads, marketing, designing and writing skills will be developed.
